About governance & missionPage content last reviewed: April 2026.
“Review” means internal assessment of mission fit, feasibility, risk, delivery path, and messaging before a cause or program is activated, promoted, or funded through public channels. Review does not guarantee approval, publication, or funding.
We may request or accept information from partners, beneficiaries, or referrers. We do not publicly disclose private information unless we determine it is appropriate and lawful to do so.
Supporters should expect honest, careful communication—not a promise of any minimum frequency of updates, a particular approval outcome, or a fixed level of public detail.
For supporters
Transparency starts before a dollar moves: review standards, partner checks, and what “verified” means in practice—then explore active programs or read public updates.
Donations made through this website are made to Acts of Kindness Foundation and remain subject to its exclusive legal and fiduciary control. The Foundation decides how and when to disburse or apply funds in furtherance of charitable purposes consistent with applicable law and our governance.
Supporters should understand the sequence: review first, administration under Foundation control, then public-facing reporting that protects privacy.
Requests, delivery paths, and public-facing claims are reviewed before a campaign or program moves forward.
Funds are administered by Acts of Kindness Foundation and used through approved channels tied to the program record.
Updates, summaries, and reporting materials are prepared so supporters can follow the work without exposing private details.
Legal & stewardship
Donations to Acts of Kindness Foundation are subject to the Foundation’s exclusive control and governing documents. Read the policies that apply when you donate or use this site—summary information only; not personalized legal or tax advice.
Review criteria are applied with judgment; they are not a checklist that guarantees outcomes. Common elements include:
Standards may change as law, risk, or capacity evolve. The Foundation may decline or pause work for any lawful reason.
We take a technology-forward approach: digital tools and partnerships help us connect supporters and communities to Foundation-run campaigns—through social media, coordinated outreach, events, and other channels—without replacing our nonprofit mission. Card gifts are processed by Stripe under PCI DSS; other vendors may support site delivery and workflows but do not own charitable funds. Where we surface metrics (e.g., progress toward goals), data may be aggregated, rounded, or delayed—not real-time financial statements and not a substitute for independent verification. Acts of Kindness Foundation administers gifts and retains discretion consistent with this page and our governing documents.
We use technology to extend connection—social campaigns, digital touchpoints, and events—so more people can learn about and support approved work, subject to privacy, safety, and Foundation policies.
Donations are processed through Stripe’s secure payment infrastructure; records support accountability while funds remain Foundation assets under our control.
Campaign and program pages run on Foundation-managed systems and approved integrations; service providers support delivery but do not direct how charitable resources are used.
