Every family deserves help they can trust
Community-centered foundation
We are a California public benefit foundation (nonprofit public benefit corporation) delivering charitable programs across the United States. Our Foundation administers programs in food security, housing stability, education, disaster response, and community health. Every dollar moves through verified channels: we pay vendors directly, document every distribution, and publish outcomes so supporters know where their generosity goes. No cash is distributed to individuals.

What we stand for
The commitments that guide every program we run.
Verified before funded
Every request goes through a partner agency intake process. We verify need through community organizations, food banks, school districts, and housing nonprofits before assistance is allocated.
Accountable delivery
We pay vendors and service providers directly — never cash to individuals. Every purchase, every distribution, every partner payment is documented and reported.
Dignity in everything
The people we serve are neighbors, not case numbers. We protect privacy, deliver help without conditions on public exposure, and tell impact stories in general terms that respect everyone involved.
Our mission
Delivering accountable help to people who need it
We help families with food, housing, education, and emergency relief — managing every dollar ourselves, paying vendors directly, and publishing what happens so you can trust the work.
We don’t hand out cash. We build programs that work: food pantry support in communities that need it most. Housing stabilization that pays landlords directly. Education supplies delivered through school district partnerships. Seasonal initiatives like Thanksgiving meal baskets assembled by volunteers and distributed through verified community partners. Every program follows the same governance model — Foundation-administered funds, verified recipients, and published reporting.

Supporters & donors
Your gift is administered by the Foundation, not passed through to a third party. We pay verified vendors and partners directly and publish how funds were used through our transparency page.
Families & individuals
If you need assistance, our intake process connects you with the right program through verified community partners. Every request is reviewed with care and dignity.
Community partners
Churches, food banks, schools, and nonprofits work with us to deliver programs locally. We coordinate resources, verify need, and document outcomes together.
Care and rigor belong together. Structured programs are how serious nonprofits protect both the people we serve and the people who fund the work.

Who we are
Acts of Kindness Foundation (AOK) is a California public benefit foundation (nonprofit public benefit corporation) and a single nonprofit organization. We design, fund, and administer charitable programs ourselves — food security, housing stability, education access, disaster response, emergency medical support, and community health. Each program operates under Foundation oversight with the same standards of verification, vendor-paid delivery, and transparent reporting.
Our team combines governance, program administration, community outreach, and compliance so every dollar moves through accountable channels. The Foundation retains full discretion over how charitable funds are allocated — consistent with our mission, applicable law, and the trust supporters place in us.
Founded in California, we currently operate programs in Southern California’s Inland Empire and are expanding to serve communities across the United States. Our seasonal initiatives — Thanksgiving Food Baskets, Summer Hunger Bridge, and Holiday Grocery & Winter Provisions — address food insecurity at the moments when families need it most.
How we operate
Foundation-administered. Every program. Every dollar.
Board-level oversight, documented administration, and published reporting — so you know exactly how your support makes a difference.
- Every program is designed, funded, and administered by the Foundation under board oversight and applicable law — not outsourced to third parties.
- Funds are paid directly to verified vendors, service providers, and partner organizations. No cash is distributed to individuals.
- Requests are verified through partner agencies — food banks, housing nonprofits, school districts, and community organizations — before assistance is allocated.
- We publish program outcomes, fund allocation, and distribution data through our transparency page so supporters can follow where their generosity goes.
- The Foundation retains full discretion over charitable distributions. Assistance is subject to program capacity and verified need.

What we're building
A future where help arrives when it’s needed — verified, accountable, and transparent. Where donors can see exactly where their generosity goes. And where families in every community we reach have access to programs they can trust.
In the field
Our programs, in action
From food pantry distributions to Thanksgiving basket packing events, our volunteers and partners are the hands that deliver Foundation-administered support to the communities we serve.

From our leadership
Why we built this Foundation
We started Acts of Kindness because we saw a gap — not a lack of generosity, but a lack of trust in how that generosity was managed. Too many people wanted to help but couldn’t be sure their money actually reached the families who needed it. So we built something different: a Foundation that verifies every need, pays vendors directly, and publishes every outcome. We’re not just growing our programs — we’re growing a standard for how charitable work should operate.
