• Do not introduce malware, overload infrastructure, or interfere with the site’s operation or security.

Intellectual property and branding

Acts of Kindness Foundation names, logos, campaign materials, and site content are owned by the Foundation or used with permission. They are protected by applicable intellectual property and other laws.

Do not use Foundation marks or content in a way that implies endorsement, partnership, or sponsorship without prior written permission, except for fair sharing of public page links in an accurate and non-misleading way.

Do not remove or obscure proprietary notices on materials you are permitted to use.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Foundation and its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, goodwill, data, or other intangible losses, arising from your access to or use of (or inability to use) the site or its content.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Foundation’s total liability for any claim arising from these terms or the site will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to access the site (typically zero) or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100), except where such a limitation is prohibited by law.
