The best time to catch a health problem is before it becomes a crisis.

High blood pressure, undiagnosed diabetes, elevated cholesterol — these are conditions that develop silently and devastate suddenly. In communities across Moreno Valley, Riverside, and Perris, residents who lack insurance, transportation, or clinic access don't get the routine screenings that catch these problems early. By the time symptoms appear, the condition is advanced and the cost of treatment has multiplied. Mobile Wellness Screening Days bring licensed health professionals directly to community centers, churches, schools, and neighborhood gathering points — offering free blood pressure checks, blood sugar testing, BMI assessments, and cholesterol screenings. Every condition caught early is a crisis prevented.

Community health screening event with Foundation volunteers and health professionals

About this program

Coordinates pop-up health screening events in underserved neighborhoods across the Inland Empire, staffed by licensed health professionals through verified clinic partnerships. Screenings include blood pressure, blood glucose, cholesterol, and BMI assessments with referral pathways to partner clinics for follow-up care. Events are held at community centers, churches, schools, and partner organization facilities. All costs — equipment, supplies, professional services — are Foundation-administered through approved vendors and clinical partners. Assistance is subject to program capacity, partner availability, and Foundation discretion.

Our approach

How this program delivers

Preventive care only works when people can access it. In underserved areas of the Inland Empire, the nearest clinic may be a 30-minute drive — and for families without reliable transportation, that distance means skipped checkups and missed early warnings. Mobile Wellness Screening Days bring the screenings to the community.

Every screening event is staffed by licensed health professionals and coordinated through verified clinic partners. Equipment, supplies, and professional fees are Foundation-paid — never charged to participants.

We document every screening event — participant numbers, conditions identified, referrals made — and publish outcomes so supporters see how their generosity caught health issues before they became emergencies.

Have questions?

What supporters ask

Where are screening events held?

Events are held at community centers, churches, schools, and partner organization facilities across Moreno Valley, Riverside, and Perris. Locations are selected based on community health data and partner availability.

Who performs the screenings?

All screenings are performed by licensed health professionals — nurses, medical assistants, or clinical staff — through our verified clinic partner network.

Is there a cost to participants?

No. Screening events are free for all participants. The Foundation covers all costs through vendor and provider payments.

What happens if a screening identifies a health concern?

Participants with identified concerns receive referrals to partner clinics for follow-up care. The Foundation coordinates referral pathways but does not provide ongoing treatment through this initiative.

How often are screening events held?

Event frequency depends on funding, partner capacity, and community need. The Foundation publishes event schedules through partner organizations and community channels.

Can my church or community center host a screening event?

We welcome hosting inquiries from established community organizations. Submit your interest through our contact page for evaluation through our standard partner review process.
