What your General Fund makes possible

Acts of Kindness · Verified needs · Accountable delivery · Real community impact

A child needs school supplies. A family needs food. A community faces urgent crisis. That is why Acts of Kindness exists. Through our General Fund, we help support verified needs — delivering assistance through structured programs, accountable delivery, and transparent updates. From helping children prepare for school, to supporting families with essential food, to responding when emergencies strike — your support helps make that possible. Every contribution helps turn compassion into action. Verified needs. Accountable delivery. Real community impact.

About this program

The Foundation General Fund is a charitable support line for flexible, Foundation-administered allocations across Board-approved program priorities. Donors may give without designating a specific program slug; however, gifts remain subject to the Foundation's exclusive charitable discretion, governing documents, and applicable law. The Foundation publishes aggregate impact and stewardship information in line with its transparency commitments. This program exists parallel to named program lines so payment-rail creation, registry evidence, and approvals can be logged like any other program row.

Our approach

How this program delivers

Communities rarely face only one kind of need. The general fund exists so the Foundation can allocate responsibly across food security, housing stability, education access, health, disaster response, animal welfare, and other Board-approved priorities as conditions change.

This is not donor-directed support to individuals. Gifts are tax-deductible charitable contributions subject to the Foundation's exclusive control and discretion, with transparency obligations that match how we already report across programs.

The public /give page and program-specific donation pages can reference the same Way of Glory / Stripe surface during rollout — this catalog row is the internal program registry line for the unrestricted rail.

Who this program serves

  • Supporters who prefer flexible, mission-wide impact over designating a single initiative
  • Board and program leadership allocating resources across verified partner networks
  • Operational teams maintaining accountable payment surfaces and reporting infrastructure

What support looks like

  • Board-directed program support across verified partner and vendor pathways
  • Seasonal or surge funding when multiple pillars activate simultaneously
  • Administrative and compliance infrastructure that sustains Foundation-led delivery

How we verify need

  • Board policies, grant documentation, and partner verification consistent with other program lines
  • Finance and reporting review for unrestricted gift handling
  • News Desk payment-link and QA workflows identical to named programs

How funds are delivered

All gifts are subject to Acts of Kindness Foundation's exclusive control and discretion. The Foundation does not permit earmarking that would violate charitable law or convert a gift into a donor-directed private benefit. General fund allocations are reported consistent with the Foundation's transparency practices.

Have questions?

What supporters ask

Is this different from /give?

The public /give page explains the same giving path. This program row exists so internal teams can track the Way of Glory campaign, Stripe link, and approvals in one place.

Can I restrict my gift?

If you want to support a specific program line, use that program's donation path. The general fund is for flexible support under Foundation discretion.

Will my employer match?

Follow the Foundation's standard matching-gift guidance documented on the donate experience.
