Riverside Food Pantry Support
As Riverside County's largest city and administrative center, Riverside has a robust nonprofit infrastructure — but that doesn't mean everyone is reached. Neighborhoods in the Eastside, Arlanza, Casa Blanca, and parts of La Sierra include households where food insecurity is a daily reality. This community program partners with Riverside's food bank network and community organizations to build consistent, accountable food access — not just emergency distributions, but sustained pantry support that families can rely on.
Riverside is the county seat and home to over 314,000 people — but neighborhoods across the Eastside, Arlanza, Casa Blanca, and La Sierra include households where food insecurity is a daily reality. This program builds consistent, accountable food access through local partners.
All funds move through Foundation-approved vendors and Riverside food bank partners. Groceries, pantry restocks, and seasonal distributions reach families through verified channels — never as cash.
We publish community-level program outcomes so Riverside donors see how their support is making a difference in their own neighborhoods.

Common questions
Which Riverside neighborhoods does this program serve?
We work with partners throughout the City of Riverside, with particular focus on neighborhoods with documented food access gaps, including the Eastside, Arlanza, Casa Blanca, and La Sierra. Partner capacity and verified need determine specific service areas.
Does this program coordinate with Riverside County services?
We work alongside — but are independent of — Riverside County human services. Our Foundation administers its own funds through private charitable channels while coordinating referrals with public agencies where appropriate.
Is assistance guaranteed?
No. This is a charitable program, not an entitlement. Assistance is based on verified need, partner capacity, and available funding. The Foundation exercises full discretion over all allocation decisions.
Can I donate food instead of money?
This program is designed for financial contributions that the Foundation allocates to verified vendors and partners. This ensures consistency, accountability, and the right supplies reach the right households.
How is impact reported?
We publish community-level program outcomes through our transparency page. Supporters can see how funds were allocated across our Riverside-area food security work.
