Emergency Dental & Vision Care
Dental and vision care exist in a strange gap in American healthcare — essential for daily life but often excluded from insurance coverage, especially for adults. In the Inland Empire, thousands of residents go without dental care until a cavity becomes an infection, and without vision care until they can't read, drive, or work safely. The Emergency Dental & Vision Care initiative connects these patients with licensed partner clinics for urgent treatment — extractions, fillings, eye exams, prescription glasses — paid directly by the Foundation. Because a child who can't see the board and an adult with a dangerous tooth infection both deserve access to care.
Dental and vision care are among the most common coverage gaps in American healthcare. Millions of adults — especially in working-class and underserved communities — have no dental or vision insurance at all. When a tooth infection becomes dangerous or a child can't read the board at school, this initiative provides access through partner clinics.
All care is delivered through licensed dental and vision providers. The Foundation pays clinics directly — never as cash to patients — ensuring professional standards and full accountability.
